Marcus Santana is a Mechanical Engineer with a Master’s degree in Environmental Hydraulics, specializing in Integrated Port and Coastal Management. He is currently enrolled as a Predoctoral Researcher in the Dynamics of Environmental Flows and Their Applications program at the University of Granada.
Since September 2021, he has been a contracted researcher in the Environmental Fluid Dynamics Group at the University of Granada. His expertise includes stochastic analysis and the simulation of environmental variables using Python-based tools. He has also worked on the implementation of GIS tools for coastal morphodynamic analysis and satellite image processing, integrating Python with Google Earth Engine.
