Pedro Otiñar is a Civil Engineer and holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Hydraulics, specializing in Integrated Port and Coastal Management. He has extensive national and international experience in the coastal and maritime sector, having worked in countries such as the United Kingdom, France, Chile, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.
He is a Coastal Engineer at HR Wallingford (UK), where he has worked on the implementation, calibration, validation, and application of advanced numerical models for wave propagation, hydrodynamic processes, and morphodynamic simulations. His expertise lies in coastal protection and management, as well as in the conceptual and detailed design of structures aimed at reducing risks associated with climate change.
